I’m an Assistant Professor of Operations Management with appointments at the Department of Management, University of Toronto Scarborough and the Rotman School of Management. Prior to this, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Harvard Business School, affiliated with the Laboratory for Innovation Science at Harvard.
My research focuses on using prescriptive data-analytics and machine learning for revenue management in online platforms. I’m particularly interested in understanding how platforms can strategically leverage information as a tool for revenue management. This has applications in diverse domains such as e-commerce, ride-sharing, and crowdsourcing.
In a previous avatar, I was a Ph.D. student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where I was advised by Elliot Anshelevich. I was awarded the 2017 Robert McNaughton prize for the best graduate dissertation in Computer Science at RPI.
I teach MGOC15 - Introductory Business Analytics - and use Datacamp to complement my classroom experience.
